Gonzales perjured himself, says Feingold

July 26, 2007 By WRN Contributor

"This has gone on long enough," Feingold said Thursday. "Congress must not permit anyone, and especially not the attorney general of the United States, to repeatedly mislead us." Feingold says Gonzales has "repeatedly demonstrated a clear pattern of deceiving the American people," and that while he's spent years trying to find out whether or not there have been abuses under the Patriot Act, Gonzales has known about abuses, but has denied knowing.
