Loren Roberts in the hunt for first U.S. Open title

Loren Roberts Loren Roberts shot a 3-under par 69 today to go 5-under after two rounds of the U.S. Senior Open golf tournament at Whistling Straits in Kohler.  Roberts trails 2nd round leader Tom Watson by 3-shots heading to the weekend.

Roberts birdied three holes with no bogey's in today's second round.

Roberts is making his 3rd appearance in the Senior Open, having placed 2nd in 2005 and 8th last year.
