Weeks Sits

July 18, 2007 By WRN Contributor

Brewer manager Ned Yost has benched 2nd basemen Rickie Weeks.  Weeks is hitting just .217 on the season and .067 in his last 45 at bats.  Yost says he'll go with a platoon of Tony Graffanino and Craig Counsell at 2nd for the time being becuase he can't wait for Weeks to find his stroke.  Graffanino went 2×3 with a homer, double and a walk on Tuesday night.

Ned Yost says Weeks isn't doing the job. :20
