Badgers' Smith reinstated to team on opening day of camp

August 7, 2007 By WRN Contributor

The University of Wisconsin has re-instated sophomore running back Lance Smith on their first day of training camp workouts.  Smith had been suspended since July 18th for violating the Athletic Department's Student Athlete Discipline Policy.

Smith is still facing misdemeanor charges of batter and disorderly conduct.  Smith has not guilty pleas entered on both charges.
