Blizzard mourns one of their own

August 1, 2007 By WRN Contributor

The Green Bay Blizzard of Arena Football 2, are preparing for the upcoming AF2 playoffs with an opening round game at Quad City on Friday night.  They're also unfortunately mourning the death of their assistant head coach and offensive coordinator Kerry Brown.

Brown was killed Monday night in a single-car accident on U.S. Highway 41 in Outagamie County.

The 35 year old Brown played nine seasons in the Arena Football League and was in his first year as the offensive coordinator of the Blizzard.  He's survived by his wife, Katina, and three children.
