Brewers' Braun sweeps NL honors

August 2, 2007 By WRN Contributor

Milwaukee Brewers rookie third baseman Ryan Braun was named the National League's Player and Rookie of the Month for July.

Braun hit .345 in July with 11 home runs, 25 rbi's and 18 runs scored.  The 11 home runs in the month led the National League.

It's the second Player of the Month honor for a Brewer this season.  Prince Fielder captured the honor for the Brewers back in May.
