Brewers send Weeks to Triple A

The Milwaukee Brewers optioned second baseman Rickie Weeks to Triple-A Nashville and placed reliever Scott Linebrink on the bereavement list after the birth of his first child.

Right handed pitcher Elmer Dessens was ecalled from his rehab assignment at Triple-A Nashville and has been reinstated from the 15-day disabled list.  Infielder/outfielder Joe Dillon was recalled from Triple A Nashville.

Dillon was hitting .317 at nashville with a team high of 20 home runs and 73 rbi's. 

Weeks was struggling at the plate, hitting just .212 with five homers and 19 rbi's in 75 games.  Since coming off the disabled list on June 18th, Weeks was hitting just .156.
