Morency is due back soon with Packers

Green Bay Packers coach Mike McCarthy says starting running back Vernand Morency will be back soon, but won't play tomorrow night when the Packers face the Jacksonville Jaguars in the teams third preseason game.

Morency hurt his knee in the Packers first training camp practice and hasn't practiced since. 

McCarthy said Morency might make it back in time to play in the Packers' final preseason game at Tennessee next Thursday.  If not, he'll be ready for the September 9th regular season opener against Philadelphia at Lambeau Field.
