The Green Bay Packers released safety Marviel Underwood yesterday and filled his roster spot by signing free agent fullback Erryn Cobb.
Cobb is a rookie free agent from Northwestern, where he began his career as a linebacker before moving to fullback in 2004. Cobb was the Wildcats' starting tightend in 2005 and played a combination of tight end and fullback last year.
