UW-Green Bay to face Ohio State in Pre-Season NIT

August 2, 2007 By WRN Contributor

For the first time in program history, the UW-Green Bay Phoenix men's basketball team will participate in the preseason NIT.  The Phoenix will face Ohio State in the 2007 NIT Season Tip-Off.

It's the only game slated for national coverage in the opening round and will take place in Columbus on Monday, Nov. 12 at 8pm and be shown on ESPN2.  The winner of that game will take on the winner of the Columbia/Delaware State contest, with the regional winner advancing to the semifinals at Madison Square Garden Nov. 21.
