Brewers relax in laugher over the Astros

September 6, 2007 By WRN Contributor

The Milwaukee Brewers clubbed 5 home runs last night and cruised to a 14-2 win over the Houston Astros at Miller Park.

Prince Fielder, Ryan Braun and Corey Hart all clubbed three-run homers while Geoff Jenkins and Bill Hall added home runs as well.  It's the 41st of the season for Fielder and the 28th for Braun.

Yovanni Gallardo pitched 7 shutout innings to pick up his 7th win (7-4).  It gives the Brewers their 5th win in the last 6 games.

The Brewers still trail the Chicago Cubs by a 1/2 game in the N.L. Central.  The Brewers are off tonight, while the Cubs close out a 4-game series against the Dodgers at Wrigley Field.

Listen / Download – Bill Hall says there's a lot of energy in this clubhouse. :19
