Former Badger, Harris signs extension with Mavericks

Former University of Wisconsin Badger basketball star and current Dallas Maverick Devin Harris, signed a new five-year contract with the team, worth $42-million. 

Harris is scheduled to earn $4-million this year, the final year of his original rookie contract.

Harris averaged 10.2 points and 3.7 assists in 80 games for the Mavericks last season.  The Milwaukee native is expected to be the Mavericks full-time starter at point guard this season.
