September 12, 2007 By WRN Contributor

Prince Fielder clubbed his 44th home run of the season and Corey Hart also went deep as the Milwaukee Brewers beat the Pittsburgh Pirates 6-1 at PNC Park.

Ryan Braun also drove in three runs as the Brewers moved back in front of the Chicago Cubs by a full game in the NL Central.  The Cubs fell in extra innings to the Astros 5-4 in 11 innings.

Yovani Gallardo worked six shutout innings to pick up his 8th win (8-4) of the season.

The two teams close out their 3-game series with a day game today.
