Freshman David Gilreath was named the Big Ten's Special Teams Player of the Week after Wisconsin 's 45-31 win over The Citadel.

Gilreath totaled 148 return yards, including 75 yards on three kickoffs and 73 yards on four punt returns.

The honor is Gilreath's first and the first Badger special team's player to receive the award since Taylor Mehlhaff on Oct. 30 of 2006.
