More injuries for the Packers

September 21, 2007 By WRN Contributor

The Green Bay Packers added a name to their already oversized injury report.

Rookie wide receiver James Jones suffered a hamstring pull and left practice early for treatment.  With 15 players already on the injury report, coach Mike McCarthy didn't take any chances and sent Jones into the training room.

It appears running back Vernand Morency will have a hard time getting on the field against the Chargers this week.  Morency was a limited participant in practice this week and again experienced soreness in his knee.
