Packers hoping Morency can return this week

September 12, 2007 By WRN Contributor

Green Bay Packers running back Vernand Morency is expected to return to full participation in practice starting today as they begin preparing for sunday's game against the Giants in New York.

Morency went down on the first day of training camp and hasn't been ready for game action since.

Packers coach Mike McCarthy said he's also optimistic that wide receiver Greg Jennings will be able to play against the Giants on Sunday as well.
