Packers resign WR Bodiford

September 25, 2007 By WRN Contributor

The Green Bay Packers resigned wide receiver Shaun Bodiford after he was one of the final cuts by the team at the end of training camp.  The Packers made room on the roster by releasing wide receiver Chris Francies.

During training camp this year, Bodiford suffered a torn medial collateral ligament in his left knee while returning a kickoff in the second exhibition game against Seattle.  Bodiford didn't have surgery, but that would be his last action of training camp before his release.

Bodiford was signed by the Washington Redskins and was on the active roster for two weeks before being released there and resigning with Green Bay.
