Stricker struggles on day one of the Tour Championship

September 14, 2007 By WRN Contributor

Twenty players will try to complete their opening round at the PGA Tour Championship in Atlanta this morning, including Madison's Steve Stricker, who is off to a slow start.

Stricker is tied for last place in the 30-player field at 1-over par through his first 11 holes.  He'll complete his first round before second round play today.

Tim Clark is the clubhouse leader.  He tied a course record with an 8-under par 62 which has him one-shot in front of Padraig Harrington.

Tiger Woods is 4-under through 11 holes.
