Badgers fall in both polls after loss at Illinois

October 8, 2007 By WRN Contributor

After suffering their first loss of the season, 31-26 at Illinois, the Badger football team fell to No. 15 in the USA Today/Coaches Poll and No. 19 in the A.P. Poll.  The Badgers had been ranked 5th in both polls prior to the Illinois game.

The Illini were unranked at the time, but now move to No. 19 in the USA Today poll and No. 18 in the A.P. Poll.

LSU is the nation's top-ranked team, while California, Ohio State, Boston College and South Florida round out the rest of the top 5.
