The Milwaukee Brewers have claimed catcher Eric Munson off waivers from the Houston Astros.
The Brewers also designated right-handed pitcher Mike Jones for assignment. Jones was a first round draft pick in 2001, but has been slowed by shoulder and elbow operations.
