Bucks open 2007-08 campaign in Orlando tonight

October 31, 2007 By WRN Contributor

The Milwaukee Bucks open the NBA regular season in Orlando against the Magic tonight.

It'll be the first start for first round pick Yi JianLian.  He's joined in the starting lineup by small forward Desmond Mason, center Andrew Bogut and guards Mo Williams and Michael Redd.

The Bucks spent the entire pre-season stressing defense.  We'll see tonight if any of those discussions rubbed off on the Bucks as they face a high powered Orlando team.

Bucks coach Larry Krystkowiak says it would be hard not to improve, but just how much improvement the team makes will be the difference in whether the Bucks have a chance to make the playoffs or not.
