Fielder chosen NL best by his peers

Major League baseball players have chosen Milwaukee Brewers 1st baseman Prince Fielder as the "Outstanding Player" in the National League for the 2007 season.

Players vote each year for the winners in several categories for Players Choice Awards.  They selected Fielder as the top National League player and New York Yankee Alex Rodriguez as the top American League Player.

Fielder became the youngest player to hit 50 home runs in a season, hitting .288 with 119 rbi's and a .618 slugging percentage.
