Mom pleads for missing teen

October 24, 2007 By WRN Contributor

The mother of a missing Illinois high school student whose car has been found in Sauk County pleads for him to contact his family. Eighteen year old Lee Cutler of suburban Chicago has been missing since he failed to show up for work Saturday morning. His mom, Beth Frazin, is clearly distraught. "Please come home, we need you so badly," Frazin sobbed during a news conference at the highway wayside where her son's car was found Sunday. "This is breaking my heart."

Sauk County Sheriff Randy Stammen said search teams found a backpack and blankets that belong to Cutler near the Baraboo River, which runs near where his car was found. Stammen said the search ended around dark Tuesday night, but will continue today. Cutler's mom and stepdad have travelled to the area to await search results.
