Packers lose Blackmon to a broken foot

October 4, 2007 By WRN Contributor

The Green Bay Packers found out today that 2nd year defensive back Will Blackmon suffered a broken foot and is out.

It's the same foot that Blackmon broke in the Packers final May mini-camp during his rookie season.

Blackmon suffered the injury during the final team drill during workouts on Wednesday.  Mike McCarthy said it's unclear how long Blackmon will be out, but hasn't been put on injured reserve yet.

Packers DT Colin Cole also sat out practice today after suffering a minor concussion during practice on Wednesday.
