Badger women's hockey team drops 2

November 19, 2007 By WRN Contributor

For the second straight night, the top ranked Badger women's hockey team fell to No. 2 New Hampshire 2-1 on Sunday.

Junior goalie Jesse Vetter (Cottage Grove, Wis.) made 20 saves as the Badgers (9-4-1 overall) lost their third straight game for the first time in over four years.  Wisconsin also had not been swept since November of 2004.

The Badgers finished the game 0 for 7 on the power play while the Wildcats went 1 for 8.

Wisconsin returns to action Nov. 23-24 when they travel to Bemidji, Minnesota, to face Bemidji State.
