Badgers lose for first time this season

November 28, 2007 By WRN Contributor

The 20th ranked Wisconsin Badgers (5-1) fell for the first time this season, 82-58 to the 7th ranked Duke BlueDevils in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge in Durham, North Carolina.

Duke improved to 7-0 on the season and a perfect 9-0 in the 9-year challenge.  The win pushed the ACC's record to 5-1 in the Challenge after two nights of play this season.

Freshman Jon Leuer tallied career highs of 12 points and six rebounds, but the Badgers fell to 3-6 all-time in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge.  Trevon Hughes also chipped in 12 points, his sixth-straight double-digit scoring game.

The Badgers are off until Dec. 3, when they host Wofford at the Kohl Center.
