Kendall reaches deal with Brewers

After sending catcher Johnny Estrada to the New York Mets, the Milwaukee Brewers reached a one-year deal with free agent Jason Kendall.  The deal is subject to Kendall passing a physical.

Kendall hit .270 with 19 RBI's in 57 games with the Chicago Cubs after a midseason trade with the Oakland Athletics.
