Mehlhaff makes Lou Groza list

Wisconsin Badger senior Taylor Mehlhaff was named a semifinalist for the Lou Groza Award.  The Groza Award is presented annually to college football's top kicker.  Mehlhaff and 19 other kickers make up the semifinalists.

Through 10 games this season, Mehlhaff has hit 15 of 17 field goals and 31 of 32 extra point attempts.  He is currently fourth int he Big Ten in field goals per game (1.5) and field goal percentage (88.2)  Mehlhaff is tied for the league lead with 19 touchbacks, and along with the kickoff team, Wisconsin leads the Big Ten in net kickoff yardage (46.8 yards per kick).

The winner will be announced December 6th.
