Mom fears son will kill again

November 1, 2007 By WRN Contributor

A Milton man who killed his sister is now calling Eau Claire home. Mark Staskal was 20 when he stabbed his 16 year old sister, Marci in 1984. Staskal was found not guilty by reason of mental disease and sent to Mendota. A judge has now placed him at an Eau Claire group home, much despite the objections of Milly Staskal and her husband, who fear he'll kill again. Milly Staskal says Mark is a schizophrenic, and needs to remain at a more secure place, like Mendota.
