Murder suspect nabbed

November 8, 2007 By WRN Contributor

A murder suspect from Kentucky was captured in the Kenosha County Town of Somers late Wednesday night, along with his pregnant girlfriend, following an intense search, that included dogs and a helicopter with infra-red capabilities.

The target of the manhunt was 37-year old Marlowe Valentine, who was awaiting trial for the 2005 stabbing death of a man in Lexington Kentucky. He failed to return to jail off a medical pass, with the girlfriend reportedly picking him up for the doctor's appointment. Valentine was spotted Racine County Wednesday, and his car turned up behind the Red Oaks Motel in Somers, just south of the Racine County line. A coordinated law enforcement effort included vehicles being stopped and searched. Just after 11:30 PM, both subjects were taken into custody not far from the motel.
