Packers vs. Carolina game to stay at noon

November 6, 2007 By WRN Contributor

The NFL wanted to switch the Green Bay Packers noon start against Carolina on November 18 to the prime time Sunday night game.  But the Packers strongly objected because of having to play the following Thursday at Detroit and the quick turn-a-round time involved there.

Packers president Bob Harlan talked to the league and the NFL will instead move the New England vs. Buffalo game to Sunday night, dropping the Chicago and Seattle game into the 3:15pm central time slot on Fox.
