School security legislation proposed

A lawmaker wants to let school districts spend more on security. The proposal from state Representative Spencer Black . The Madison Democrat says while there's no requirement that schools spend money on security, there is a limit on how much they can spend. Black wants to let local districts spend $100 per pupil above state imposed caps on school security measures. He's introduced a similar bill in the past, and has had the support the Madison school district. State Senator Bob Jauch will offer a Senate version of the bill.
