WIAA State Football Championships

The WIAA State High School Football Championship began on Thursday with four champions being crowned.  In Division 7, Eleva-Strum blew out Southwestern 41-6.   In D6, Stratford won their 5th straight title with a 28-7 victory over Iola-Scandanavia.   D5 say LaCrosse Aquinas shutout Kewaunee 27-0 while West Salem took care of Kettle Moraine Lutheran 52-14 in Division 4.  Today, three more title games will be played as New London takes on Wisconsin Lutheran in Division Three at 10am.  At 1pm Kimberly will battle DeForest in D2.  The Division One title tilt will feature Hometead and Arrowhead at 4pm.
