Badger women beat state rival Milwaukee

Janese Banks scored 23 points and Wisconsin broke open a close game in the second half to beat in-state rival UW-Milwaukee 79-59 at the Kohl Center. 

The two teams were tied 32-32 at the half before the Badgers held the Panthers to 29% shooting from the field in the 2nd half to break the game open.  Wisconsin improved to 4-3 with the win. 

Traci Edwards scored 17 points and pulled down 10 rebounds to lead the Panthers in defeat.
