Brewers GM Melvin hits baseball's winter meetings

December 3, 2007 By WRN Contributor

Milwaukee Brewers General Manager Doug Melvin is in Nashville today for the start of Major League Baseball's Winter Meetings.  The Brewers could be looking for a third-baseman and the St. Louis Cardinals third-sacker Scott Rolen could be on the trading block.

Brewers Rookie of the Year, Ryan Braun said he'd consider moving to left field if the Brewers acquired a veteran third baseman.
