Packers sign Nall to fill 3rd QB slot

December 3, 2007 By WRN Contributor

After seeing Brett Favre go down with an injury in last week's 37-27 loss to the Dallas Cowboys, the Packers signed veteran free agent Craig Nall on Saturday, adding a third quarterback to the roster.

To make room for Nall on the 53-man roster, the Packers released safety Marviel Underwood.

Nall was the Packers' fifth-round pick in the 2002 draft.  He spent four seasons in Green Bay.  He signed as a free agent with the Buffalo Bills before last season and has spent time with the Bills and Houston Texans this season.
