UW-Green Bay wins opener, UW-Milwaukee comes up short

The UW-Green Bay Phoenix got 20 points from Mike Schachtner and 16 points from Terry Evans in their Horizon League opening 69-63 win over Loyolla. 

Green Bay improves to 6-2 on the season.

UW-Milwaukee got off to a good start, but couldn't hold the lead, falling to Illinois-Chicago 91-73.  The Flames shot 60% from the field and hit 13 three-pointers.

The Panthers got 30 points from Torre Johnson in the loss.
