Badgers climb in College basketball polls

January 22, 2008 By WRN Contributor

After two more Big Ten wins last week, the UW men's basketball team (15-2, 5-0 Big Ten) moved up to No. 11 in both the Associated Press and USA Today poll.  Wisconsin beat Penn State 80-55 on the road and then took care of Northwestern 62-50 while celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the Kohl Center.

The three Big Ten teams ranked are within four spots of each other.  In the AP poll, Indiana sits at No. 7, Michigan State is 10 and the Badgers are are 11.  In the USA Today Poll, Indiana is ranked eighth, MSU 10th and UW 11.

The Badgers return to action Tuesday night as they host Michigan at the Kohl Center with the tip set for 6pm.
