January 7, 2008 By WRN Contributor

Jolene Anderson The Wisconsin Badgers (8-5, 1-2) shoot for their 100th win in the Kohl Center tonight when they face the Minnesota Golden Gophers (11-4, 2-1) in a women's border battle matchup.

After dropping their first two Big Ten games, the Badgers got back on the winning track with a 84-71 win over Michigan State on Jan. 2.

Jolene Anderson (pictured) needs just 46 points to tie the UW women's career scoring record of 1,994 which was set by Barb Franke (1991-96).

The UW vs. Minnesota series is the longest running women's basketball series for the University of Wisconsin.  The teams have met 57 times with Wisconsin having the edge with 29 wins to Minnesota's 28.
