Favre wants to return for another season

January 10, 2008 By WRN Contributor

Brett Favre Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre said he isn't approaching Saturday's Divisional Playoff game against Seattle as if it were his final game.

Favre told the Biloxi (Miss.) Sun-Herald that for the first time in three years, he hasn't thought about this being his last game.

In his 17th season, Favre led the Packers to a 13-3 record with 28 touchdowns, 4,155 passing yards and a quarterback rating of 95.7, his best in 11 seasons.  Favre now owns records for TD passes (442), passing yards (61,655) and pass completions (5,377).

In the past few seasons, Favre has taken considerable time following the season to make up his mind about his future.  Unless he has a chance of heart, that won't be the case this year.
