January 9, 2008 By WRN Contributor

The 15th ranked Marquette Golden Eagles struggled against the Seton Hall zone defense and shot just under 33% from the field, yet still found a way to pull out a 61-56 win over the Pirates in Big East action at the Bradley Center last night.

The Golden Eagles improved to 12-2 and improved to 2-1 in the Big East.

Jerel McNeal had 14 points and Doninic James added 13 points and 5 rebounds.

The Golden Eagles will host Notre Dame on Saturday.
