Marquette upset by Mountaineers in Morgantown

January 7, 2008 By WRN Contributor

The West Virginia Mountaineers picked up their biggest win under Bob Huggins, upsetting 10th ranked Marquette 79-64 in Morgantown yesterday.

It's the 601st career win for Bob Huggins, who's back, coaching at his alma mater.

Marquette was expecting the traditional Bob Huggins man to man defense, but instead got a 1-3-1 zone and struggled.  The loss ended Marquette's 7-game winning streak.
