New England Patriots wide receiver Randy Moss said he was initially interested in playing with QB Brett Favre and the Green Bay Packers but became less thrilled about such a move with the type of financial package the Packers were offering.
Speaking at the Super Bowl in Glendale, Arizona, Moss said, "When they started talking about the wrong things, I hung the phone up and didn't want to talk to them anymore.
"I thought about it. It was something that could work out just for the fact Brett Favre was there, but I think as the conversation continued throughout the day and the next day, I really didn't want to go to Green Bay."
It looks like Moss has the last laugh. He caught 98 passes for 1,493 yards and an NFL record 23 touchdowns this season. He's playing in the Super Bowl on Sunday and the Packers are watching at home.
