Page named Midwest Conference Player of the Week

January 29, 2008 By WRN Contributor

Lawrence University's Chris Page was named the Midwest Conference Player of the Week.

The Junior from Amherst, Wisconsin scored 28 points in the Vikings 109-106 win at Grinnell last weekend.

Page hit 20 of 24 shots from the field and 8 of 12 from the free throw line.  He also pulled down 9 rebounds and collected two steals.

The 48 points scored by Page, broke the school's single game scoring record.

Lawrence returns to the court Wednesday night on the road at rival St. Norbert College.
