Stricker forces playoff but settles for second in Hawaii

Daniel Chopra twice blew chances to win the tournament on the 18th hole, but then pulled out a win over Madison's Steve Stricker on the fourth playoff hole to win the  PGA 's season opening Mercedes-Benz Championship in Hawaii.

Chopra closed with a 7-under par 66, while Stricker got into the playoff by shooting a 9-under par 64, finishing regulation with four-straight birdies. 

Stricker's second place finish is worth $630,000.
