8th ranked Badgers knock off Hawkeyes in snowy Iowa City

February 7, 2008 By WRN Contributor

A foot of new snow outside Carver Hawkeye Arena, didn't slow down the 8th ranked Wisconsin Badgers inside.  The Badgers got 16 points from Marcus Landry in a 60-54 win over the Hawkeyes, winning for the 13th time in the last 14 games.

It's also the 10th win in the last 11 games against Iowa.

The win pulled the Badgers back into a first place tie with Big Ten leading Purdue with the two teams squaring off on Saturday at the Kohl Center.

The game featured 13 lead changes and 7 ties and wasn't decided until the final minutes, when the Badgers hit 10-straight free throws to seal it.
