February 20, 2008 By WRN Contributor

Longtime Ashwaubenon Jaguar high school football coach Ken Golomski is retiring.

In 25 years, Golomski has a 183-91 record with four state championships (1996, 2000, 2001 and 2005).

Golomski was twice named the Wisconsin State Coach of the Year and was inducted into the Wisconsin State Football Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 2005.

Under Golomski, nine former Jaguar players have received Division 1 scholarships and another 17 players received Division 2 scholarships.

Golomski's resignation ends a 31-year relationship with Ashwaubenon High School, where he not only coached, but served as a social studies teacher as well as advisor to numerous clubs and programs.
