Bielema adds to coaching staff

February 8, 2008 By WRN Contributor

Bret Bielema Wisconsin football coach Bret Bielema (pictured) has added Charlie Partridge as his new defensive line and specialists coach.

Partridge spent the last five seasons as an assistant at Pittsburgh where he coached the defensive line for four years and linebackers last year with the Panthers.

Badgers wide receivers coach Henry Mason won't be back next season.  Mason missed the entire 2007 season because of a spinal cord injury he suffered last summer when he fell at his home.

Delvaughn Alexander was hired as his replacement on an interim basis last year.  He'll remain on staff at least through 2008.
