Brewers agree with Bush on one-year deal

February 6, 2008 By WRN Contributor

The Milwaukee Brewers and right handed pitcher Dave Bush have agreed to a 1-year deal worth a reported $2.55-million, avoiding salary arbitration.  Bush made $400,000 last season.

Bush is one of eight Brewers competing for a role in the starting rotation.  He's made at least 31 starts in each of the last two seasons, finishing the past two years with records of 12-11 and 12-10.

It leaves only Brewers shortstop J.J. Hardy still in salary arbitration.
