Homeowners heading back to the banks

Even after many homeowners dumped their bankers for another lender, banks are now welcoming them back with open arms.

Kurt Bauer with the Wisconsin Bankers Association says there's been an "up tick" in refinancing recently. Many of those clients are those with adjustable rate mortgages from non-bank lenders.

Bauer says many are coming back because of problems in the sub prime lending market. However, he expects the recent action by the fed to cut interest rates twice in one week also had an impact.
